Avesta Stadshotell is a small family owned and friendly hotel in the pedestrian area in the city centre. An old traditional hotel amid shops and entertainment venues. All our 28 rooms have en-suite facilities and are individual in style, size and colour. Some of our double rooms have sofa beds in an adjoining room for one or two additional guests. Free parking available for all guests in our onsite parking lot, located near the hotel entrance. We take pride in our buffet breakfast using fresh and organic produce. We have complimentary WiFi, sauna and a conference room. Guests can avail of our laundry and we have a fully equipped guest kitchen to cook meals, or just store something cool. Our hotel is located in the southern part of Dalarna, within two hours drive from Stockholm, Vasteras, Falun, Gavle and Orebro. Take a walk through Swedish history in Gamla Byn, the old parts of Avesta. Or why not visit the bison park where you can look at the mighty European bisons.
