Attracted by historic houses and the french country Johan Bouman and Pieter Franssens acquired Chateau de la Resle in 2005 as their main residence and started a vast renovation - Chateau de la Resle host the extensive private collection of contemporary art and design of the owners - The concept of Chateau de la Resle as a luxury retreat is to open our house and share it with people who enjoy the combination of historic architecture and contemporary art and design just as much as we do - Whether it is the house -the garden -the silence or the surroundings -we hope to be more than just a destination and offer a true experience of sharing a unique and inspiring location with its owners for a couple of days - Although we always encourage people to discover the treasures of Burgundy culture -we also want to offer people the possibility of relaxing at the chateau by reading a book in the garden -enjoy the sun in summer at the pool or warm up ...
