So you will get detailed explanations of the city from a historical view point as well as that local experience that makes Winchester a quaint, unforgettable place. 

You will learn of the legends around some of the most iconic locations in Winchester. You will get to know notable characters such a Licoricia of Winchester of the stories of many bishops that work hard to give the city its hard earned reputation. And of course, you will dive into the Anglo-Saxon past following the footsteps of King Alfred of Wessex.

However your guide has lots of experience in running a school cycle bus and shielding children from the traffic. You will therefore be in a unique position to learn what it is like to cycle from the leafy village of Colden common, through the ancient streets of Twyford and on to Hockley link, in the knowledge that you will be protected by the cycle bus.
