In 1944 more then 70 prisoners escaped from the camp but only 3 of them menaged to escape successfully.  In the museum you can see full-size replica of the hut where the men planned their daring mass escape, and displaying many original items from the prison camp. 
About a half-mile drive from the hut you can also see the “Harry” tunnel dug by the prisoners (one of three tunnels dug: Tom, Dick, and Harry), which now serves as a memorial. Here you can see exactly how long the tunnel was and the exit and entry points. A guard tower has been reconstructed to show the proximity of the tunnel exit to the attentive German soldiers on patrol. You are also able to wander through the woods and see some of the original foundations of the camp.

Beside thousands of rock towers you can admire beautiful lake with cristal water or 16m tall waterfall.
You don't have to be fit to hike there but remember that the narrowest passage is only 0,5 wide).

The trial is well marked and it is impossible to get lost. It is 3,5km long and tourists usually need 2h to complete the loop.
You have in total 3h on the place to enjoy hike in your own speed, take pictures or have a lunch.

We end the trip on the Gothic Cathedral Island next to the Wrocław Cathedral. This is the oldest part of Wroclaw. Near the Cathedral, on the Odra River, there is a walking boulevard. There you can sail by boat or sit for a coffee or beer in the beer garden.
