We produce wine for passion, with respect for the environment and continuous search for quality without forgetting the poetry that wine contains.

We want to offer our guests a full-immersion experience in the world of oenology, and tasting, with a sensory journey to discover the world of wine from cultivation to aging.

You can take a panoramic walk with us in the vineyard, where depending on the season you can actively follow the different processes, to understand how the wine is born in the vineyard, and then continues its life in the cellar from alcoholic fermentation to aging in wood.

The experience ends with the tasting of wines paired with local products selected by the best farms.

Abellonio Cascina Piccaluga - visit to the vineyards, to the wine tasting cellar

We will start our day in the historical center of Neive, a small medieval hilltop town. One of the towns of the Barbaresco wine area and one of Italy’s top 5 most beautiful hilltop villages. We will sit down in a caffè with a warm beverage of your choice and will go over the area with the local maps to give a better idea of the regions, the grapes, the winemaking process, and what we will be tasting throughout the day. From there we will take a beautiful drive through the the hilly roadways that are covered in vines that brings us to our first winery stop, where we will see the wine making process, talk about some family history, and a taste of some of the family’s most precious wines. After we will stop in a medieval village for lunch at a small local spot, before heading to our second winery visit. We will then after, head back to our meeting point where you will be free to enjoy an aperitivo or dinner after the tour. The start time is at 9.30 and the end time is at 17.00

A warm welcome awaits you by the cellar's owners, the wine-making process will be explained to you and during the visit you will taste different wines. Wine lovers will enjoy a visit to explore 3 cellars to find out the winemaking techniques, the merits of aging in barrels with family lore. Lunch: a table will be reserved at a typical restaurant on route (cost not included) or if preferred you will have free time in a characteristic village.

During this class you will make, bake & then eat your own home-baked pizza from Ariella's antique wood-burning oven. You choose the toppings she will show you how to make your signature fluffy light dough.

Feel the dough come to life as you knead and mix it by hand, experiencing the transformation in texture firsthand.
While the pasta rests, you and Ariella will craft a seasonal sauce using local and organic ingredients. In winter, savor the flavors of funghi or pumpkin, while summer brings the freshness of cherry tomatoes and basil.

As the pasta is stretched and prepared for cooking, Ariella will demonstrate two methods for achieving the perfect texture. You'll have the opportunity to try your hand at it, gaining a true understanding of the process.

Finally, come together to cook and enjoy your handmade pasta creation, paired with local wines and a decadent homemade tiramisu. This unique experience offers a taste of the rich culinary heritage of the Monferrato region in a picturesque country setting.

Langhe is a kingdom of good wine and fabulous food. You can visit this area for its smooth and romantic hills, or for Barolo and local delicacies,... or both of them, of course!

The experience takes place in the home of a local professional Wine Taster from ONAV (the Italian Association of Wine Tasters).

Together with your host you will:
- Learn the basic techniques of wine tasting in order to detect and enjoy its different notes and aromas
- Taste 3 different regional wines and discover their characteristics.
The tasting session includes: Dolcetto, Roero Arneis, Malvasia (or similar wines).

The wine tasting will be paired with savory regional food: a table of cold cuts and cheese or vegetarian appetizers.

Of course, if you do not finish the wine during the tasting session, don’t worry... You can take it back home and enjoy it afterwards!
