Scooter tour “discovery of the terroir” between Tours and Amboise

Join us on a wonderful afternoon wine tour starting from Tours or Amboise, and discover the local wines of the Touraine region.
As a small group of up to 8 people, you'll visit two wine estates in the Touraine "appellation" area with your local expert guide. 
He will take you through the vineyards and the wineries, providing insights into the geography, terroir, and the art of winemaking. You'll have the chance to taste a large variety of red, white, rosé and sparkling wines from the region, made with many grape varieties (Chenin, Malbec, Cabernet, Gamay, Grolleau,…), accompanied by cheeses and charcuterie specialties from the region (rillettes, rillons, …)
Throughout the transfers between locations, you'll have the opportunity to admire the beautiful Loire landscapes through the windows of our comfortable chauffeured Mercedes minivan.

The Vouvray vineyards are strategically situated along the northern banks of the Loire River, just east of the charming town of Tours. Chenin Blanc reigns supreme in Vouvray, contributing to the region's reputation for producing some of the world's most versatile white wines. 

On this half-day tour you will visit 2 carefully selected local wineries, where you'll have the unique opportunity to step behind the scenes of winemaking. At each winery, you'll be treated to a selection of their finest offerings.

Loire Valley Wine Half Day Tour in Vouvray

Floating and sensory isolation is an uncommon but extremely beneficial method of relaxation. You will float in water at 36°C (skin temperature), heavily loaded with Epsom salt (5 times the density of Dead Sea salt). This will allow you to float effortlessly for total relaxation.

In the dark or with colored light (chromotherapy), in silence, with relaxing sounds (sound of the sea, tropical forest), or to music, you control your environment according to your mood at the time.

Boarding at the port of Chandon (20km from Tours) on a toue cabanée, a traditional flat-bottomed boat, for a 2h30 to 3h ride. You will share the knowledge of our boatmen who will tell you the history of the Cher and explain to you the operation and ingenuity of the needle dams, invented in 1834. You will discover a diversified flora and fauna, typical houses, mills, mansions and castles hung on the sides as well as the charm of the manual locks and the lock houses.
While contemplating the glow of the setting sun, you will taste the local specialties in food and wine pairing (tasting of 3 wines).
