Your first destination will be the Apollonia Archeological Park, where Julius Caesar and the Roman emperor Augustus set foot. You will take a walk around the ancient city dominated by Greco–Roman temples, olive groves, and panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea. At the heart of the site, you will visit the Byzantine church of St. Mary and the impressive museum of Apollonia.
The trip continues to the Narta Lagoon, a protected area lived by flamingos and pelicans. The tour will drive you all around the lagoon and salt marshes for birdwatching. Later, we will transfer to the coastal city of Vlore, where the Independence of Albania took place in 1912.
