Founded in 1848 the Logis de la Cadene is one of the oldest hotel restaurants in Saint-Emilion. The Logis is located on a small square in the very centre of the medieval town. It was always a favourite of the Bouard de Laforest family living in nearby Chateau Angelus and they ended up acquiring it in summer 2013. Relax rest and even laze in delightful settings featuring a combination of materials bathrooms with cement tiles time-polished wood furniture revived parquet flooring and rare Chinese artefacts. In February 2017 three years after the restaurant was taken over by Angelus the Michelin Guide awarded its first star to the Logis de la Cadene.
