We will pick you up directly by your accommodation in Florence and we will head to a local family owned winery where you will enjoy a great wine experience and delicious home made food. At the end we will drive you to San Gimignano, a stunning medieval town in the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive grooves and the rolling hills. Here you will have time to stroll around the town for about an hour. Enjoy some free time shopping in the local artisans shops and take pictures of the incredible architecture of this ancient town. We will be hosted in an organic farm, in the heart of Chianti Classico area. A typical farmhouse where a Tuscan family lives since many generations. It’s a charming set up, surrounded by rows of vines, olive groves, flowers and vegetable gardens. Here we will have to roll our sleeves up and start cooking our meal. With the help of a
local Tuscan Lady you will learn traditional secrets of our cuisine as well as cooking techniques. Success is
guaranteed.

Your driver will come to your accommodation around 930 to whisk you off to your first wine tour and tasting. During the day we will escort you to three wineries to see the differences in production methods and sample each wineries products. A lunch stop will be included at a local restaurant with the tour continuing after lunch. If you have a preference for smaller, less known producers let me know at time of booking and I will concentrate the afternoons bookings with this in mind.

If you choose to see the Medieval Tuscany with us, after meeting you in front of your residence, we will take you with a short journey to the city of Siena. We can reach the heart of the city with our vehicle and you will visit the most important monuments independently.
Your driver will also present you the local history and the most important traditions, such as food, since good cuisine is one of the most significant attractions. You'll have time for some shopping and memorable photos.
You can choose to have lunch in Siena or into the Chianti hills to have lunch at a wine estate and taste home made Tuscan food paired with local wines.
After lunch we will drive you to San Gimignano where, in addition to visiting the city, perhaps climbing up the “Torre Grossa” or entering the Cathedral, you can enjoy a magnificent ice cream.
Once the day is over we will take you home while admiring the Tuscan countryside and its charm that will be a memory for a lifetime.
