Start this fascinating journey with a pick up by your English speaking naturalist tour guide, we will drive for 45 minutes to the town of Gamboa once there we are going aboard our expedition boat to navigate into the waters of the Panama Canal.

On the waters of the canal you will see a giant ships  just next to our boat, reach the gatun lake to explore different islands looking for wildlife, monkeys, birds, sloths, crocodiles will be part of this experience.

Return to the pier and drive to the soberania National park, we are going to explore the rainforest from the inside and we will have the opportunity to spot more wildlife along the road, after this nature walk drive to  a restaurant for lunch (Not included), we will be back around 2:30 p.m to your hotel.

Soberania National Park Hike 

Explore rowing on a kayak the beautiful Chagres River before it merges at the Gatun lake where the huge vessels and boats transit from Ocean to Ocean. The Chagres river is the main tributary of water of the Canal. A quite waterway, enjoying the sound of the wild life of this dense tropical forest. 
You might get the opportunity to see a sloth in a tree, a colorful bird peacefully living in the jungle or at the top the water plants, caimans, turtles among many others species of the local fauna. 
After a short hike to the small port used by the Embera indigenous at Gamboa, the tour last about 1 hour and 20 minutes (in the kayak) always accompanied by our bilingual guide and probably also by an Embera guide from the area who knows the place better than anyone.

This is the only night hiking adventure inside a National Park one hour away from Panama City, this experience begins at 6:30 pm with the transition from daylight to total darkness at the entrance of the Pipeline Road inside Soberania National Park, this service road was reopened in 1988 by the Smithsonian Institute so that their scientists could have a safe area to explore and collect samples in the forest, without the risk of entering directly, this is a dirt gravel road, my tour offers you the opportunity to feel the sounds of the rainforest at night in a safe way, possibilities to see insects and exotic plants, this tour is not to see animals at night but it can happen with luck, we provide headlamps for everyone and a poncho, after the hike, we drive over the Centennial Bridge for a bird's eye view of the canal at night, we also stop at the Pedro Miguel parking lot to explain how the Panama Canal works and drive towards Amador to show you the night skyline of Panama City.
