Authentic Oshima Tsumugi Textiles Experience

You can make original bracelets using Oshima Tsumugi yarn, used to make traditional kimono. In addition to giving them as presents, we also recommend making matching pairs for friends or couples. Bracelets come in customized lengths based on customers' preferences, so they can also be worn as anklets. 

Private Braided Bracelet Making Workshop at Kagoshima

It is an experience of weaving cloth using a traditional textile machine.We use a machine exclusively for children that is relatively easy to operate.

Weave cloth for about 40 minutes using thread used in Oshima's traditional pongee kimono.

Choose the colored thread that children like and knit it with both hands and feet.You can finish it during the day and take it home. 

This will also be a memory of the children's journey.

Children's Oshima Tsumugi Handwoven Private Experience

A volcano guide will take you through the Sakurajima Visitor Center, a "mini volcano museum" near Sakurajima Port, and the lava field formed during the Great Taisho eruption (1914).
You can learn about the history of the volcano while looking at the exhibits in the visitor center, and you can also see the real thing on the lava trail. It is a guided tour that can only be found on a realistic active volcano.
On the coast, you can also enjoy the majestic scenery of lava that has flowed into the sea and Kinko Bay (Kagoshima Bay).
This is a one-hour volcano learning program that will make you feel that "the Earth is alive!"
