With this tour we will go back in time, visiting places you never imagined, to understand how what we know as Nazism emerged and the details of Hitler's rise to power. How did he do it? What was your speech? What were your main obsessions?

There is much to discover in the Parliament Quarter. There are great photo opportunities on the way to the Reichstag building.

Concentration camps were a key instrument in the Nazis regime of terror, and the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp was unique. This tour is a complete visit to the memorial camp. The tour starts in Berlin City Center, where you will meet your guide, Aaron. After that we take a short train ride out to the Sachsenhausen Camp Memorial.

On more than 100 screens with original film recordings from the period from 1945 to 1990 - the most beautiful day of the Germans - the reunification!

The exhibition deals with the post-war period, the temporary division of Germany by the victorious powers and the concomitant hardening of the relations between East and West, which finally brought the founding of the FRG and the GDR, as well as the first establishment of a wall around West Berlin.

This shore excursion combines our classic All-in-One Best of Berlin trip with a brief visit to the largest concentration camp near Berlin: Sachsenhausen. 

We will pick you up directly at your cruise ship docking in Warnemünde or Rostock, and bring you to Berlin to see the city's essential sites. You will then be driven to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp for an overview of the memorial site.

Please be aware, Sachsenhausen is roughly a one hour drive from Berlin. The tour is organized to minimize time spent on the bus. This is why we visit Sachsenhausen in the afternoon, as it lies on the way back to port. More time, however, is spent on the bus than on our regular Berlin shore excursion.
