Troodos Mountains Villages: All Inclusive Food & Wine Day Tour

Our first stop will be at the picturesque Village of Laneia; a walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses.
Next stop will be in Troodos Square, in the surroundings of the pinewoods, you may enjoy a coffee break and wander around the stalls selling traditional products.
Continuing up the mountains, we will arrive at the island’s most famous and wealthiest monastery, Kykkos. With its gold decoration, paintings and mosaics, the monastery possesses a precious icon of the Virgin Mary painted by the Apostle Luke.

Our first stop will be at Kolossi Castle, it is fascinating to explore this three-story castle and get a feel of medieval history. 
Next, we will visit the ancient city of Kourion, archaeological Site with its famous, Greko-Roman Theatre. At a stunning location overlooking the sea, we will visit the Sanctuary and Temple of Apollon Hylates. 

Our next stop will be at Aphrodite’s Birthplace where you will be able to enjoy a coffee break and see the beautiful coastline were the Goddess of Love was born. Larnaca Unveiled: Landmarks, Tastes & Traditions

Hike on Artemis trail (8 km / 5 miles, flat and easy), the highest elevation trail in Cyprus, covered with unique flora. It is barren on many stretches and characterised by black pines and endemic Troodos junipers. Usually it offers excellent vistas to many parts of the island and to coasts from Limassol to Morphou bay. 

Meander inside the picturesque old part of Kakopetria village - visit old olive press, an old church and watermill. Take a short walk along a shaded stream opposite the old part of Kakopetria village. Cyprus coffee on a coffee shop veranda overlooking the stream is highly recommended (as is a fresh trout meal at a nearby restaurant). 

Visit the 11th century UNESCO World Heritage site Agios Nicolaos tis Stegis painted church, a former monastery where only the chapel survives. The frescoes are superb, dating from the 11th century onward.

The 172-meter-long MS Zenobia sank in 1980, taking her full cargo of articulated lorries with her, creating a unique underwater landscape. Walk in Omodos alleys & around Kelephos medieval Venetian bridge

We will make a circular route through some of the most beautiful villages and sightseeing of the area. Rapid changes of terrain and scenery in relatively short distances throughout the route make it ideal to have a general view of the area which is located northwest of the city of Limassol and spreads throughout the southern slopes of Mount Troodos. The change in terrain and environment in the 9km distance to Platres is amazing! From there we will take a (5km) downhill trail leading to Pera Pedi village. We will divert for about 1km to visit Milomeris Waterfall and Milia Medieval Bridge. At an altitude of 800 m we will pass next to Pera Pedi Dam which is surrounded by the evergreen pine forest of the mountains.
